How do I cancel a domain name? |
ANSWER:
Canceling a domain does not entitle you
to a refund of any part of your registration fee. Once you
have canceled a domain it is no longer registered to you; it
will be listed as available for registration. A canceled
domain thus becomes available to any registrant. Canceling a
domain name will terminate your rights to that domain name and
it will eventually be released to be registered by others.
THIS IS A PERMANENT ACTION. You may re-register this domain at
a later time and for additional registration fees. Be sure to
log out of domain management once you are done.
To cancel a domain:
Step 1:
Log in to the EZER(Web host, Domain names Backorder, Free
masking, Free forwarding, SMPT) Account Manager.
Step 2:
Select Manage Domains from the Domain Names
dropdown menu or from the Manage Your Account list.
Step 3:
Select the domain name you wish to modify by checking the box
next to it, then click the Cancel Domains button.
Step 4:
Check the box next to Please Cancel Domain(s) and click
the Save Changes button.
